COURSES
This undergraduate course will introduce students to a myriad of historical and modern spiritual disciplines from a wide variety of Christian expressions. Through the lens of Scripture and historical practices, students will appreciate why the disciplines are important, what fruit they produce and how they can be incorporated into a busy lifestyle. Multiple opportunities to practice these skills will be provided.
Introduction to Spiritual Formation
This course helps prepare students for Christian leadership by making them aware of different leadership theories, leadership skills, and leadership disciplines. By attending the Global Leadership Summit, completing a StrengthsFinder Assessment, and other means, students will deepen their understanding of godly leadership and will articulate key insights about their personal leadership gifts and values.
Foundations of Leadership
This course aims to examine the theory and practice of leadership as it has developed historically and is evident in present contexts. Leadership Theory & Practice
This course focuses on the spiritual formation and development of those called to be leaders but also addresses the topic of spiritual formation more broadly.
